The recession has been technically in effect for a little over a year. Thousands of people have been laid off, countless companies have gone bankrupt, hedge funds have been imploding by the second and the US has started subsidizing the doublewide trailer industry… however, none of this has hit close to home. Why not? Maybe its because I work in finance and everything is business as usual (joke).  Today, the recession finally got to me. As part of today’s reorganization plan, Chrysler has announced that it will stop production of the PT Cruiser. (I know … i cried too.)  Here’s the rest of the plan.
